This time it was an enjoyable stay for us. We had quick bite at ristobar la piazzetta, it was nearby. The location was IDEAL, about an 8-minute walk from the Sorrento Circumvesuviana train station.

Room was nicely decorated (modern looking from ikea), with large bathroom and large shower with great water pressure.
Breakfast consists of croissant, brought to you. Coffee was always cool, got breakfast wrong for 3 days in a row (ordered only 1 croissant with nutella, but kept putting on all 3) Safe did not work. Located far from town, difficult to catch a bus/taxi to town. Difficult walk from train station with luggage (narrow side walks and had to walk in street for most of way with traffic whizzing by!)

The apartment looked cheap and tatty from the outside but was absolutely beautiful inside. Expensively and tastefully decorated. (We had the Green Room - there are 4 colours)Breakfast was brought to us by a girl and we gave her the keys as we left. Comfortable bed and very clean.
When we arrived we had to wait 25 minutes for the owner to arrive and let us in but as we had booked just 10 minutes before wasnt bad as she was working out of town.

Very large, spacious, and modern room. Very clean, and big balcony outside.
We arrived at the hotel during check-in hours, only to realize it was inside a locked apartment building, and after ringing the apartment several times, we realized there was no one there. We had to sit outside the building on a busy street in Sorrento for at least 30 minutes before another resident of the building came out and told us we should call a number posted on the wall...if you are a foreigner, this is an expensive thing to do since you have to call internationally with a cell phone. At first no one answered our calls, and finally after another thirty minutes, someone answered and said they would be there in another 20 minutes. It was a very unprofessional experience...obviously someone is trying to make some quick bucks on the side, and this is not a legit hotel.

Review of Guest House Emily Suites Sorrento
We really appreciated the arrangement of our standard room with a balcony, which added a lovely touch to our stay. the location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the vibrant shopping area and enjoy the excellent restaurants nearby. it's just a short distance from a beautiful cubical shrine, which was a nice bonus for our visit.

Only 3 colour-coordinated rooms on the 3rd floor. The green room was very spacious, clean and furnished in a modern way with balkony. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We made the reservation in the evening for the same night. The staff called us and met us shortly after for check-in. Make sure you leave your mobile number so they can reach you to arrange a time, as they are NOT at the B&B.
Because of the location (main street to the front, suburb train to the back) only recommendable for Saturday night stays. Unless you enjoy being woken up early by lots of noice.

The hotel staff were very helpful and extremely polite. The maid came and delivered your breakfast every morning with a nice smile. If you asked for more towels or toiletries it was no trouble. The Emily Suites were very well kept, clean and tidy. The decoration of each room was lovely. I was very pleased with the family room as the children were in the room with me.
The Emily Suite was further away from the town centre of Sorrento than was described online. The actual distance was around a 15 minute walk which seems nothing but when you have to do this two or four times a day it becomes tedious. The fridge in the suite was very small only enough room for 1 bottle of wine and a can of beer. We stayed in the green Suite, which faces the main road and the noise from the traffic was intense (Day and Night). If you are a light sleeper or have young children this is a no, no. The breakfast consisted of french toast and jam, tea/coffee/milk and orange juice, which was ok for the Adults but there was nothing for the children.

We had a lovely large room. The bathroom was huge and very clean! Very helpful staff, the cleaning lady called us a cab from her cell phone for us, as there isnt a phone in the suite. Breakfast was delievered every morning to our room, at our choice of time. Fridge in the room which was nice, as were there 3 nights and the A/C did work! Wonderful place!

Spacious room, comfortable beds, big bathroom, free wifi. We forgot to arrange an ETA with the owner but he couldn't get there quick enough to help us :)
Located directly beside the train line with frequent trains. Breakfast was included but minimal.
